Zenith Richards is a classically trained photographer based in New York. He grew up shooting and printing B&W film and with a focus on street photography and portraiture. After completing his undergraduate studies at Oberlin College Zenith returned to New York to pursue a career in photography. A year after starting his professional career he began shooting editorial for Timeout New York Magazine, where he booked his first eight page editorial and cover shoots for Spring 2011 Fashion week issue. Along side his editorial work Zenith has been working on a series of work documenting the New York Subway, a body of work consisting of portraits of people on the train. In June of 2011 a short series of this work was exhibited as part of a group showing at a Gallery on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.
